COVID-19 Universal Precautions and safety guidelines

As recommended by The Texas Department of Licensure and Regulation, in addition to our own expanded safeguards to help protect our customers and employees, we have developed the following COVID-19 infection control plan, updated as of March 2022. Our plan consists of combined recommendations from the CDC, state and local legislation, professional esthetics organizations and guidelines being implemented at the nation’s leading hospital systems. 

Scheduling

All facial service appointments must be made online through our scheduling system. As a part of the scheduling process, please complete your Client Intake Form. 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a reminder email containing a COVID-19 screening form that must be completed before you can be seen, despite your vaccine status. 

Travel

If you have recently traveled to an area with a current rise in COVID cases, we kindly ask that you schedule your appointments 2-3 weeks following your return and are free from any symptoms.

Arrival

Please plan to arrive 5min prior to your appointment time. There are multiple parking spaces in front of our studio that are free for 2 hours. First come, first served. Otherwise, metered street parking is ample.

Treatment

Your service provider will wear a mask and gloves throughout the entirety of your treatment. Please wear warm enough clothing, as blankets will not be offered. 

Sanitation

As an essential aspect of fundamental esthetics training, we have always implemented and will continue to sanitize then disinfect all non-porous surfaces or implements using hospital grade EPA-approved disinfectant, Barbicide, that effectively kills pathogens. All our employees are certified in COVID Infection Control. Since COVID, we’re doing extra cleaning! Our schedule allows for adequate time in between clients to ensure effectiveness of disinfectant. Porous surfaces or implements that cannot be properly disinfected have either been 1) removed 2) replaced with disposable options or 3) are laundered with bleach.  We ahave also implemented the use of an air purifier.
